2. Verify bank logo and information: Make sure that the bank logo and related information on the water bill is consistent with the information officially provided by the bank, which can be verified through the bank's official website or other credible channels.

3. Verify account information: Check with the bank account information provided by the customer to ensure that it is consistent with the account information shown on the water bill, including the account name, account number and bank name.

4. Confirm transaction amount and date: Check whether the transaction amount, date and transaction type on the water bill match your transaction records to ensure that there are no obvious inconsistencies.

5. Seek bank confirmation: If you doubt the authenticity of the water bill, you can contact the relevant bank and ask them to confirm the authenticity and validity of the water bill. Banks can usually provide assistance and verification.

6. Use the MT103 message to follow up: If the customer insists that the money has been remitted, but you are late in receiving it, then ask the customer for the MT103 message. The water bill is just a remittance application form, and the remitting bank still needs to send the MT103 message before it can be considered complete.

9. Be alert to anomalies: pay attention to the water bill whether there are spelling errors, inconsistent format or irregular content, which may be a sign of forgery water bill.
